I have built my own PCs using the MSI X870e Tomahawk, Carbon and now the Godlike, and have to say this is a beautiful and well build board. From the moment you see the packaging and unbox it you will notice this is truly a high end and great quality board. It was designed with great aesthetics and truly feels premium from the design, backplate, VRMs, LCD screen, and all the additional cables and accessories included in the box.
Now, this board is not for everyone, the price is high compared to other X870e motherboards, but you are paying for all the premium and enthusiast level features. I use it for work, ML, AI and gaming, so the features are good for me. I installed all 5 NVME SSD slots, and I am running 2 of them at Gen 5 speeds. You have the ability to add the PCIe accessory and add 2 more NVME SSDs for a total of 7, but you lose from X16 to X8 Gen 5 for your main GPU if you do this, but you have that option.
The build is different than other mother boards as most connections are on the right of the board, and you need to plan for this, as well as use an extended EATX PC case. You also need to plan and make sure you have the room to connect everything to the right, or you can also use many more ARGB and Fan connections inside your case using the provided hub.
As you can see on my pictures, this is a great motherboard for custom watercooling, and I used both the pump connections and sensor cables to control my water pumps and keep track of the temps and RPMs. The Godlike LCD looks great as well, and you cna read your sensor data right there, and you can modify it to add images, videos or customize the sensor readings.
In conclusion, this is an excellent motherboard for enthusiast who don't worry about cost, and focus more on Quality, features, looks and push your motherboard to higher limits when overclocking. Have fun with it!
