Best mid tier board
||Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This is a great board with a ton of added features that makes it really easy even for a beginner to over clock their new build. By using the dragon center you can over clock your system without the worry of a bricked system. The bios update button is great as is the click bios. It even comes with a usb flash drive with the drivers and software already on it and to make it better there is enough room to download bios updates to the flash drive so you’ll always have them ready. The WiFi is fast. It is triple what my last card was. Now I can take advantage of my gigabit internet service. I love the three PCIe NVMeslots with the built in heat sink. I have no standard ssd’s or Hdd’s in my system. I am using all three of the NVMe slots on the board for storage. Overall it is a clean board with convenient placement of the connectors making cable management especially easy. Great power and heat management as well. I’ve done a few heavy stress test on my i7 11700k and the temp never exceeded 69c. This is a solid upper enthusiast class board. Not quite a pro board but really close. Worth every penny I spent on it.

Worth the purchase
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.RGB are kinda useless unless you really only use MSI programs. Otherwise very beautifully MB. Very well designed and structurally strong holding my 3090 with ease. Cooling fins are a plus. Plenty of fan ports. 3 usb ports.

Great motherboard, but one annoying thing
||Posted .Owned for 10 months when reviewed. So it’s about to be a year pretty soon, but I have to say, a mother is a mother board hahah, but point being said, easy settings for BIOS especially for all you guys who like to OC >.> but one thing I do hate is that the RGB lights always do this RGB reset like phase but goes back to normal… that’s the only annoying part, cool design and love the SSD heatsink plates come to play with the design :D

Q: QuestionNo internet. I checked to see if my Ethernet cable actually worked and it did but when it went into the motherboard just, nothing I tried everything still doesn’t do anything. I would use a wifi card but the speeds with the Ethernet cable is just to good.
Asked by Kimmyhead.
- A:Answer If the motherboard is not able to use the ethernet port, please make sure to update the drivers to confirm if this is not a driver issue. If the driver does not fix the issue please return the product back to the retailer to request for a replacement as it could be a faulty port.

Q: Questioninstalled this into my case and when I turned it on and the cpu light is red and DDR light is yellow. So I took out the cpu cleaned it with a duster and I checked if any pins were broken I could not find any broken ones. The cpu I have is a i9-10900k.
Asked by Petergriffin.
- A:Answer Because of the ddr light yellow you might need to re sync your ram by taking out and putting it in hope this helps!

Q: Questionwhat is the usb drive for? windows, bios?
Asked by cravenhead.
- A:Answer The included USB is a driver USB. Once you load Windows, you can load the drivers using the USB, or download the drivers directly from MSI's website. https://us.msi.com/Motherboard/MPG-Z590-GAMING-EDGE-WIFI/support#down-driver

Q: QuestionSo I don't exactly understand motherboards and chipsets or whatever, so I'm just gonna ask here. Does this motherboard come with a chipset and if not, any recommendations?
Asked by GuyOnTheInternet.
- A:Answer Motherboards don't come with the processor, but they have a pre-designated socket style. This particular board supports LGA1200 socket, the optimum product for this socket being the 11th Gen i9 processor. The 12th gen is not supported because it's a different style. (I believe it's LGA 1600)

Q: QuestionWhat type of M.2 drive does this motherboard take?
Asked by desktop.
- A:Answer It accepts one pci-e 4.0 drive and then 2 pcie 3.0 NVME slots. If you do use all slots you will lose 2 of the 6 sata ports. which isn't a big deal if already using decent size M,2 drives. Hope this helps. Excellent board by the way, took my i7 11700k to 5.2 all core no problem.

Q: QuestionInstalled this motherboard and new cpu i7 11700k as well as new ram. The led debug indicator lights up solid white on the 3rd indicator saying it does not recognize the gpu and only has a gray screen. Graphics card works.

Q: QuestionI wanted to know the total power draw for the motherboard (board power, pci, cpu connectors... total draw to calculate power supply needs) Thanks
Asked by K.
- A:Answer Total power consumption requires you to factor in your other components. A motherboards power draw on it's own is less than 75W.
