Good for the price
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I liked the range of heat settings. I was able to use it on very delicate fabric without damaging it. I also liked the price. However, at this price you do not get a retractable cord.

Little lifesaver
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This little iron has been a lifesaver. My regular steam iron started spewing out white stuff all over my clothes even though I have been very diligent about only using distilled water in it. I needed something to tide me over until I could figure out what was going on. This little iron has been a champ. It is lightweight and gives out enough steam but not as much as my other iron. However, for the price, I cannot complain and no one can tell which of my clothes were ironed with an expensive iron and which was ironed with a more economic one.

Steam adjustment
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Set to steam and it steams at every setting continually not just on the high setting for cotton and linen. More even expensive irons I've returned don't give you this option unless you push the steam button every few second, that's a pain. It has the recommended setting on the dial like the others, but I find the synthetic setting with steam to low temperature great. The cotton setting that only yields the steam is high temperature and maybe too high for synthetic. Most fabric is synthetic and the option to steam at a low setting is needed a dry iron might not do the trick. All this from this from cheaper iron, my second of this type Proctor Silex in 8 years not bad.
