• A:Answer About 127 ppi vertical and 136 ppi horizontal. This is an estimate based on dimensions, and is off by the rim of panel. Call it about 140 ppi assuming square pixels. Samsung can update this with the actual panel stats. But note you must account for how close you sit to the panel. The (Apple especially) fuss over large ppi is mostly hogwash. What you really want is pixels per degree of field of view (ppdofov). If you want, say, 2X the ppdofov from this monitor, just push it 2X further away. Of course then you might need to squint to read text. What I’m saying is, there is no standard as to how far your face is from the monitor, therefore all this shouting about ppi is meaningless. What counts is how well the monitor works for you in your placement on your desk. By that criterion, this can be an awesome monitor.
