- Answer While this monitor supports up to 180hz refresh rate, the video card in the source device (laptop, PC, etc) must also support 180hz. If you cannot get above 120hz this means that's the highest refresh rate your video card supports

- Answer This monitor connects via HDMI or DisplayPort connections. If your laptop has one each of these connections or two HDMI, or two DP connections, you just need the appropriate cable for the connection. If needed you may need to confirm with the manufacturer of your laptop whether it can support two external monitors.
