- Answer Yes it does. It is directionally sensitive so you need to point right at the TV towers.

QuestionI have the 2 loop and recently changed tv's not getting as good as signal as previously I am in the middle of Milwaukee and Chicago I can never get cbs...I did from Indiana but signal keeps dropping. Will upgrading help me get better signal??

- Answer I'm Not sure you will get a better signal but by switching Antenna, the tv tuner which is why a possible lost of signal, some tv have better tuners than others.

- Answer You need to make sure your TV has a digital QAM tuner. Some TVs such as Vizio will not work as that don't have built in tuners.

- Answer What is the height? The higher, the better. Im at 25ft with 44 channels with the help of the Tv Antenna Helper app on the android market to show me on google maps where my signals were coming from and the distances. Trust me.. it seems to go a nice bit farther than 80 miles from my experience.

- Answer Depends on your distance from the signal. The walls and glass will have some reduction in signal strength.

- Answer I work for a cable company and have a low voltage license. It would be a best practice to ground this, but no you don't have to.

QuestionDoes this work for UHF and VHF(HiV). We bought a different antenna that only works VHF and we need both.

- Answer Yes this antenna is picks up both UHF and VHF channels. It is actually two antennas in one. The wire part with the figure 8 looking center piece is the UHF part and the long narrow black bar that mounts on top/back side it the VHF part and there is a signal combiner that you mount in the middle of the two panels that will connect the two antennas to one coaxial cable that runs down into the house.

- Answer ClearStream 4 has no VHF antenna as part of the assembly, ClearStream 4V does have a VHF antenna. Based on reviews they both seem to work well, but technically I would expect the 4V to get VHF channel reception much better (although I have never compared). VHF channels are 2-13 I believe.

QuestionHow do I install and ground this antenna outside for a mobil home?I have never installed an antenna before. I want to ground it because we get lightening around here, the problem is that I also live in a more rural area. According to Fool TV I live about 36 to 40 miles from the nearest broadcasters. I understand that I can use the cable from my cable provider inside the house, but do I need to purchase more cable from the antenna to the splitter or does it come with the antenna? Also what is the difference between an in-line signal booster and a signal amplifier, or are they the same thing? Please answer in simple language as I am just learning about this stuff and cannot continue to afford supporting uncle Cable TV. Thanks

- Answer I can't address grounding the antenna. As for the hookup. You will need to purchase enough cable to get from your antenna to your distribution box (splitter). If the cable run is less than 50 feet you may not need a preamplifier (in-line). If your cable run will be over 50 feet you should get a preamplifier. My cable run is 100 feet and I use the Channel Master Titan II and it works fantastic (it needs to be plugged in for power, and is hooked up at the antenna). Sometimes with amplified signal interference is also amplified, so I am trying what is called an LTE filter for cellular disruption. Haven't received it yet but have read a lot about it.

- Answer I put one toward Milwaukee and one toward Madison. I put both antenna cables into a splitter. I ran the one output cable from the splitter into the attic of my house into a power booster. I ran the one output from the power booster into another splitter. I ran 2 cables from the output end of the splitter with one into the bedroom TV and one into the living room tv. Madison and Milwaukee come in great. So the short answer to the question is yes. I adjusted each antenna on the pole one at a time and locked the first one down before doing the second.
