A:AnswerThe contract is a standard one like you get for your phone. You agree to keep the iPad active on Verizon for 2 years and if you break the contract (terminate early) you agree to pay a pro-rated termination fee.
A:AnswerI have Verizon, too. If still within 2 year contract, to connect cellular, you will have to get a new phone number, new contract. Have to weigh your options. I bought new iPad and got the new phone number, but I only had 1 month left on contract. Called Verizon and ‘stopped’ my cell phone number from being ‘attached’ to my old iPad, got a new contract, sold my old iPad and pencil on eBay, then will cancel renewing my contract for the old cell number. If you go this route, do NOT put a hold on the account; it extends the contract. If you cancel early, there is a cancellation fee, so check if cheaper than continuing cellular service.
