A:AnswerIf it is not listed on their approved modem list, they might not provision it. We recommend you call to confirm as this is a newer product and they might not have their list updated yet.
A:AnswerIm having the exact same issue. Im told it's the firmware. Arris does not have a new one. They also will not give one. Im told I have to go through my isp as they have to approve it to work on their network
A:AnswerYes, this is compatible with Centurylink. It is always a good idea to call them to confirm they will activate it on their network, prior to purchasing.
A:AnswerHi,
it works with Charter Spectrum, Xfinity.
I did not a Phone line cause I replaced what was there before. but i believe you have to have a cable line setup maybe from your other cable company.
This Cable Modem works great, no internet drops. It has been steady since I installed it

A:AnswerHello - it might be best to use the "Compare" feature on the site to do a side-by-side comparison. A quick comparison will show that the G36 is the newest technology - DOCSIS 3.1 modem, and Wi-Fi 6 router. Only DOCSIS 3.1 modems can achieve Gigabit speeds so if you subscribe to Gigabit speed plans, the older DOCSIS 3.0 modems won't achieve those speeds (the Motorola MB7621 is DOCSIS 3.0 and Wi-Fi 5). It really comes down to what speeds you subscribe to and how to get the most out of those speeds. Hope this helps.
