QuestionCan you split 2.4 and 5mhz bands?

- Answer Not sure what you mean by split. It has 2 wifi connections the 5g and the normal 2g. 5g has a short range but faster speeds. The slower 2g connection covers my whole house.

- Answer Im having the exact same issue. Im told it's the firmware. Arris does not have a new one. They also will not give one. Im told I have to go through my isp as they have to approve it to work on their network

- Answer Hi, it works with Charter Spectrum, Xfinity. I did not a Phone line cause I replaced what was there before. but i believe you have to have a cable line setup maybe from your other cable company. This Cable Modem works great, no internet drops. It has been steady since I installed it
