A:Answer Unfortunately, no. The SURFboard is a DOCSIS 3.0 WiFi cable modem, and it will not work with Verizon FiOS or other Verizon internet. Unlike other ISPs such as Comcast Xfinity, Cox, Wave, Atlantic Broadband, Mediacom, etc., which allow you to use modem/routers from other brands such as Netgear, Arris Surfboard, etc. Verizon Fios discourages using other equipment than the G3100 or the G1100. That’s why you’ll have to stick with the WiFi routers and modem combos that are approved or supported by Verizon Fios.
The TP-Link AC1750 will work with Fios in addition to the other two above.
