A:Answer This can go at PCIe 3.0 and 4.0 speeds, but it's limited at 3.0 speeds without a CPU that can do 4.0(it's controlled by the CPU, the motherboard just allows it to work if it's supported or not). As long as you do then there shouldn't be any issues unless you are running multiple other PCIe devices like multiple video cards. Then one of the 2 slots I believe cuts to x2 instead of x4 mode which will slow it down. Make sure yours is in the dedicated 4.0 slot if that's the case. Also, if you are transferring to another hard drive, it will only go as fast as the fastest drive.
