- Answer The standard specification for Dual Band routers allow devices connected to different bands (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz) to communicate. Your computer can be connected to the 5 GHz band network and be able to print or scan (depending on your machine's specifications), to the Brother MFCJ1010DW connected to the 2.4 GHz band. Your Brother machine will only connect to the 2.4 GHz wireless band. The Brother machine will not "see" or connect to the 5 GHz band of your router. Below is a link with more information on 5G. - Answer Yes, the Brother MFCJ1010DW is able to Scan a multi-page document into a single file. Please be advised, you are able to scan from the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) and the scanner glass. In order to scan a multi-page document it would need to be done from the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) from the scanner glass it would be one document at a time.
