QuestionWhat are the differences between this model and the 2710?

- Answer I just learned a big difference between the two. Duplex printing is NOT THE SAME as Duplex Copy/Scan. The 2710 prints double-sided from a device, but will not copy or scan double sided using the document feeder. The 2750 will copy double sided through the document feeder. I wish that was clear when I purchased the 2710. Spent all afternoon trying to figure out why the document feeder won't print double sided, kept saying Unavailable. I will have to return it and purchase the 2750. I think it's an important feature.

QuestionDoes this scan from a feeder so multiple pages can be scanned at once, or do you have to scan one page at a time. One of the pictures made it look like you have to place each page on the machine to scan it.

- Answer Yes, it will scan and file in color. All you have to do before you scan is to select Color Settings in your machine settings before scanning. Also, you can choose the Resolution, the default is 300 x 300 dpi.

- Answer Yes, Definitely you can. Just connect the printer to your Wifi Network and you will be able to scam/copier to any PC or any other device in your network (Cellphones, ect). Works great!

- Answer According to one comment that I finally found when I was researching this printer before I bought it, the printer comes with a "starter" toner cartridge. I've had mine a short time and it is still printing, but I expect that it will run out shortly and I will have to purchase a regular cartridge. The fact that it was a "starter" cartridge was not made clear in the listings for the printer. I saw one very brief mention of it in my research.

Questionis it the same toner for MFC-L2750DW Wireless Black-and-White All-In-One Printer than MFC-L2740DW In other words I have already MFC-L2740DW . Can I use the same Toner TN660? Or have to be TN730 or TN760 is MFC-L2750DW better than MFC-L2740DW ?

- Answer Unfortunately, no it's not the same toner. I have both printers and was very disappointed to find the toners were different.

QuestionDoes this have a "sort" or collate function? If I print a set of pages to make, say 10 copies, will the pages come out in the same order as the original set or will they come out individually (like a stack of page 1; stack of page 2...) Thank you!

- Answer Yes, MFC-L2750DW does sort multiple copies. Pages will be stacked in the order they are fed, that is: 1, 2, 3, and so on.

QuestionIs the Flat Glass 8 1/2 x 11 or 81/2 x 14. I have to print and scan legal and letter documents to actual size.

- Answer The actual glass measures about 8.75 in by 12 in. It scans a bit longer than 11 inches. Scanning from the platen without a prescan results in a page longer than the 11 in paper scanned. This is a bit annoying. The document feeder defaults to 8.5 by 14.

- Answer The L2750DW WILL do single-pass duplex scanning, via the automatic document printer. Thus far that feature has worked flawlessly, and is a significant time saver. To the best of my knowledge, there are no Functional differences between the DW and the DWXL, beyond the additional Toner included with the XL.

- Answer The drum is the carrier mechanism that you snap the toner cartridge out of and back into when you change the toner cartridge. It does not have to be changed as often as the toner, but the printer does tell you when to change it, as you have learned. You should be able to buy it at the same office supply store where you purchase toner cartridges.

- Answer I have an older MacBook Pro (OS 10.11.6) with a nonworking CD. I was able to download the information I need from the Brother website. I am using my Brother MCF-L2750DW with both my iMAC and my MacBook Pro.

QuestionDoes the scanner scan in both legal and letter size? And at the same time? How many ppm does it do for black and white pages? You can do 50 pages through the feeder right? How long would that take? And does it import as PDF?

- Answer It can do legal and letter, but not at the same time - you tell it the paper size before starting the scan job, and if you tell it letter, legal scans will be cut off, and if you tell it legal, letter size sheets will be padded with whitespace. You can append different jobs together, though. Scanning speed depends on choices (color, resolution, duplex, etc). PDF is one of the output options, also various image formats. This is based on scanning with Brother's iPrint thing on MacOS - other versions may be different.
