QuestionClaims to have a 650VA rating. This translates to "650 Volt Amp Hours". So why, with a 1.5A load, the unit operated for 90min? If this unit was brand new and fully charged, I would expect 1.5A load to survive almost 200min?

- Answer Amp-hours and volt-amps are different entities. The former is a power measurement and the latter is a capacity measurement. Definitely not the same.

- Answer Not sure, but being an electrical engineer, I think this should not be a problem. You might check it during charging to see if it is getting excessively warm.

- Answer The manufacturer has a free Windows compatible program for home use that can monitor the UPS when connected using the included USB cable. It provides information such as load, estimated runtime, charge level, input level and more. It can even send email alerts.

- Answer All I know is that it provides temp backup power to what is plugged in. I use it for my PC & Monitor for power & surge protection & surge protection for my printer. I also use one for my TV,DVR & Cable tower for power & surge protection.

- Answer The units get charged at the factory, but if they sit on the shelf at a store for a long time, that charge may dwindle. That is why we always recommend charging the unit for 8 hours after you unbox it to ensure it is fully charged when you use it. Thank you for your question!

QuestionWill the CyberPower protect my gaming console if the lights go out for a couple of seconds? Naturally, I would proceed immediately to turn off the gaming console in the case of power failure. How many minutes before there is no protection?

- Answer That is a perfect example of what this device can be used for. The amount of time depends on how many watts the console draws. It should give you time to power down if you only have a game console connected.

- Answer The amount of time the battery will run will most likely be shortened by as much as half if not more due to the cold environment. It would need to be above freezing to work normally. But you could try and report your real world findings.

- Answer It works like a battery that only turns on when the electricity goes off. If the electricity does not turn back on it will eventually stop working. Once the electricity is restored it begins the recharging process for the internal battery. How long it lasts depends on what electrical load is plugged to it. These typically aren't designed to last very long. It is designed to alert the user to a power failure giving the user just enough time to shut down a computer properly. It might run a router and Wi-Fi for an hour or two.
