QuestionRecording time...Can't find the recording time for a variety of SD cards. I bought a 32 g card. Seams strange at 720P it only hold 1.5 hours.... If I do the math, should be over 10 hours....

- Answer First, try seeing if you have locked files on the memory card. The camera saves events that trigger a sensor alert and those files become locked. This prevents the camera from recording over them. If you don't have locked files, try reformatting the memory card.

QuestionHow can I get it to stop freezing up after 15 minutes of use?It freezes up after 15 minutes of use and you can not do anything with it. It stays on when you push the buttons nothing works. I have to hold the power button for 10 plus seconds and it restarts. Than I can shut it off or go through the menu to look at the video. It seems to record while in the frozen state. The recording when it is frozen is very choppy.

- Answer It has a wide-angle lens. Can't tell the exact angle, but the image has a slight fish-eye effect (roadside vertical objects appear curved).

Questionthe date/time of this dash cam recorderi understand the date/time need to adjust manually the first time when plug into the power source. But after turn off the car's ignition and the recorder will turn off as well. that means there will be no power connected. How to keep the date/time running without any power source. As i have bad experience with other brand dash cam recorder, everytime when start up the car and turn off the ignition, the date/time of the recorder will be back to the original setting and have to adjust it again and again. How about this one?? how to charge the recorder beside using the cigarette lighter adapter. Will the date/time keep running if there is no power source connected. Or i have to adjust the date/time every time when i turn on the recorder??????? Pls clarify as this is one of my major question before decide to buy this product

QuestionCord LengthI don't want the cord hanging down in front of the windshield. - Answer Yes you can. The camera shuts down when power is disconnected format it, hard wire to car to keep all features while in normal operation. I found mine on Amazon.com for $12 and it about 12ft long.

- Answer No. This dash cam does not have any provision for a second camera. You would need to buy two units, and find a way to get power back to the rear of the vehicle.

- Answer Night vision would be awesome, right? Unfortunately, the Garmin Dash Cam 20 does not have a night vision mode. However, it does record in full HD 1080P--so you should be able to see the road ahead of you as long as your headlights are on.
