A:AnswerYou can open one or both of the top doors without opening the freezer door. all 3 doors can each be opened separately. Or they can all be open at the same time as well.
A:AnswerHi Potentialbuyer - Thanks for your purchase! There should be sufficient tubing from the cold water supply to allow the refrigerator to be moved out from the wall several feet. To determine how much tubing you need: measure the distance from the water valve on the back of the refrigerator to the water supply pipe. Then add 8 feet. Be sure there is sufficient extra tubing (about 8 feet coiled into 3 turns of about 10” diameter) to allow the refrigerator to move out from the wall after installation. There is no maximum length. The line can be run as long as necessary to reach a main water line. A:AnswerHi frustrated- We are sorry to hear of the difficulty with the Turbo Cool feature on your new refrigerator. The Turbo Freeze setting "revs up" the freezer compartment, cooling it quickly after frequent or extended door openings. When this feature is selected, the compressor is activated and the freezer fan turns on at high speed, even when the door is open. The freezer temperature will revert to the coldest setting for a 2 1/2 hours period or until Turbo Freeze is turned off (whichever comes first). It maximizes the cooling ability of the freezer compartment. To turn the feature on or off, press and hold the Freezer pad for 3 seconds. The display will show tc. For reference, see page 6 of the Owner's Manual: http://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-60758.pdf - If it is not operating as described, we suggest to reset the electronics by unplugging the refrigerator for 30 seconds or so. If you still need assistance, we encourage you to take advantage of your warranty and contact GE Appliance Service at 1-800-432-2737 for assistance or conveniently schedule an appointment online: http://www.geappliances.com/service_and_support/service/ - Thanks for reaching out to us! A:AnswerHi Rouge55 - Thanks for your purchase! We are happy to provide assistance. When the refrigerator starts back up after being shut down for a time (installation, moving, etc.), moisture may build up inside. This is normal and should go away after about 24 hours or once the refrigerator has stabilized at temperature. If the doors are opened frequently, warm and/or humid air enters the refrigerator. If the doors do not close completely, warm and/or humid air will collect inside. Check for food items that are blocking door closure. Make sure it is leveled properly to ensure the doors close properly. Check door alignment. If the doors are uneven, refer to your Installation Instructions at the following link: http://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-60758.pdf - If you need further assistance, to schedule service online, 24 hours a day, visit us at GEAppliances.com, or call 800.GE.CARES (800.432.2737). We hope this is helpful. Keep in touch! SUEatGEA

A:AnswerHi Jessie- We are excited to hear of your interest in our refrigerators! We currently do not offer a French-door model less than 68 5/8" (Height to Top of Case), 69 3/4" (Height to Top of Hinge), 69 7/8" (Overall Height). These are the dimensions for GE® ENERGY STAR® 20.8 Cu. Ft. French-Door Refrigerator GNE21FSKSS (29 3/4" Wide x 36 5/8"Depth-including handle). See the Quick Specs: http://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=GNE21FMK_FSK_c2.pdf - Also, our GE Profile™ Series ENERGY STAR® 23.1 Cu. Ft. Counter-Depth French-Door Refrigerator PWE23KSKSS is 69 7/8" Overall Height x 35 3/4" Width x 31 1/4" Overall Depth (28 3/4" Depth Without Handle). A:AnswerHi Elizabeth- Thanks for choosing our GE® ENERGY STAR® 24.8 Cu. Ft. French-Door Refrigerator GNE25JMKES! You'll love the smudge-proof Slate finish. We recommend 1/4" O.D. (outside dimension) GE SmartConnect universal icemaker water supply line. It is heavy-duty cross-linked plastic tubing and the compression fittings are included ( WX08X10006G - 6ft, WX08X10015 - 15ft, WX08X10025 - 25ft) or you can use 1/4" O.D. (outside dimension) copper tubing with a flared end, approximately 8 ft. coiled into 3 turns that are 10" in diameter. Copper tubing is recommended (if not using the GE SmartConnect water line) because most plastic is more likely to "wear out" over time ( WX8X2: 15 ft. kit, WX8X3: 20 ft. kit, WX8X4: 25 ft. kit). If needed, you can order online at http://www.geappliances.com/ge/parts/?icid=GEARsupportflyout-parts - For complete details we suggest to view page 33-34 of the Installation Instructions at this link: http://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-60758.pdf - Keep in touch! A:AnswerThe door tapers from outside to inside, so yes, with the rubber seal the inside of the door from front to the rubber seal (where the French doors open and meets the front of the fridge) is just over 4". Keep in mind the door is holding up 4 shelves inside on both sides. The outer width of the door where it meets each side is approx 3" wide. So it tapers from 3" to about 4" outside to inside width wise.
A:AnswerIf you mean can you spill liquid and not have it leak to the next level, the answer is yes. Spills are easy to clean up with this model. Shelves are removable as are the door shelves.
A:AnswerThis feature does not take up any room at all. A great feature as to not take up too much room in top part for ice maker and you won't be annoyed when water and ice cubes splash out everywhere. Love this feature!
