A:AnswerOpen the ice door and there is a lever you raise up. Open the door. You will raise the ice storage up and out. Sometimes you my jiggle the unit but it will come out. This way you can fill up a ice chest for traveling. Make sure you put it back the same way. Once you do it a few times it's like old school method.
A:AnswerHey there and thanks for your interest in this wonderful refrigerator. The depth with handles included is 35 7/8 inches. We’re here should you have any additional questions. -Gina@GEA
A:AnswerFrom what I read it's a 1 year warranty. I didn't go for the extended warranty. My old GE refrigerator lasted just over my 5 year warranty which the cost didn't justify buying. I'll take my changes and save my warranty money. FYI

A:AnswerHey there, and thanks for reaching out with this great question - we know how important finding the right finish would be. This particular model, GFE26JYMFS, comes in stainless steel specifically. While there are variations of the model in other finishes, we unfortunately do not have black stainless available for this model. Your interest in a black stainless option will be shared with our design team. The available other finishes are slate, black slate, white and black. If you’d like to view those options, you can do so on our GE Appliances website when you look up the model number and go to the product page – options to view the other finishes are to the right of the appliance picture. We do have other models that come with a black stainless finish, including PFE28KBLTS. If you go to the ‘Refrigerators’ section of our website, you can use the filtering options on the left side to view our black stainless options specifically. We hope this information is helpful. If you have any other questions or concerns, we’re always glad to assist. All the best! -Sarah@GEA
