A:AnswerHi Cgirl - The oven is equipped with heavy duty (steel) black porcelain enamel self-clean oven racks so you can conveniently clean your oven and racks together. While durable, the racks could be damaged if dropped. Replacement racks can be purchased at GEApplianceparts.com - Thanks for considering GE. Keep in touch! Sue
A:AnswerHi - Thanks for reaching out to us regarding your wall oven. This is frustrating, we know. While we are not aware of this happening, we suggest to reset the electronics by turning off power at the circuit breaker for 30 seconds or so. If this continues, a qualified service technician is required for an accurate diagnosis. Please schedule a service appointment online at GEAppliancs.com/service or call 1-800-GECares (1-800-432-2737). Keep in touch. We are always eager to help! Sue
A:AnswerHi Belen- Our ranges and wall ovens meet all standards set by the Underwriters Laboratories (UL). UL evaluates external temperature limitations for ranges. The oven will not get "hot" during use. Oven windows are made of glass that has gone through a coating process to make it stand up to the high temperatures to which it will be subjected. The coating is actually somewhat metallic and helps to reflect heat back into the oven, and aids in keeping the door cool. Wall ovens do not vent to the outside. The oven vent is located below the door so this air can be warm. Keep in touch! Sue

A:AnswerThe new 30” GE JT3000SFSS Oven fit into the exact space under the counter occupied by my old 30” GE Oven. I don’t, however, know the model number for the old GE oven as it came with the house back in 1999 (it was an old white 30” GE Oven). I paid a professional to install the oven and they did have to “add” wood trim to the sides as the new oven was a tiny bit smaller for the old opening. But you can’t “see” the added wood trim.
A:AnswerHello Alicia - Yes, this model will work very well as a replacement for your old model. It is also backed by the GE Appliances Fit Guarantee: http://www.geappliances.com/ge/wall-oven/79756_built_in_ge_rebate.pdf. -TREY@GEA
