- Answer Our Combo uses 1,800 watts on average. The running watts will be listed on the rating plate of the unit. If needed, know that we have an article on our GE Appliances website called "Running an Appliances on a Generator". We hope this helps!

- Answer I dont really see the need for a fan. I dont hace one and have not aeen any condensation on my windows or laundry room counrers. I'm not sure where it saya its needed but, i don't think its necessary.

- Answer We have ours on the second floor. This genius of a machine can be moved upstairs. 3 men moved ours. Don't hesitate. Buy it! It's amazing. However! The contractor booked by Best Buy wouldn't carry it up the stairs. VERY disappointing. We got our persons to do it. So when you buy it and set up delivery be sure to insist that they will carry it up the stairs. This company refused to lift above their knees. It's my understanding that Best Buy will have multiple choice of who to contract for the delivery. You must insist they do their homework before they book someone.

QuestionConsidering this uses heat pump technology, does it need a drain installed for condensation? Or does that go out with the used washer water?

The heat pump condenser warms the air, then circulates it through the drum at a high rate by the fan. After passing through a double-sided lint filter, the heat pump evaporator then removes moisture from the air and sends it down the drain. We hope this helps and we hope you choose one for your home. QuestionWe are thinking of putting this in our destination camper. Do you know if this is something that could work in a camper? The camper does have hot and cold water hook up capability for a washer and dryer

- Answer The only thing I would be concerned about is making sure your waste water line is capable of handling the discharge. Also if you move your camper make sure to reinstall the drum stabilizing shipping bolts as you can cause damage to the drum.

QuestionWill this work in a high temp high humidity environment like a garage in Florida?

- Answer Theoretically yes. However higher humidity conditions may cause the machine to work harder and you may have to dry your clothes on a longer cycle or run a second dry cycle.

However, if you have harder water, you may have to use additional detergent/softener to ensure a proper clean due to the hardness of the water. QuestionWhat detergent does it use?

- Answer Hi - Thanks for reaching out to us with this great question. We recommend HE (high efficiency) detergents in all of our clothes washers as they are formulated to provide superior cleaning performance while eliminating the potential for over-sudsing. Our specific recommendations are as follows: use only HE (High-Efficiency) liquid detergent when using the SmartDispense feature. Powder (granular) or liquid detergent can be used in the Manual compartment. Like with all our frontload washers, detergent packs, pods, and sheets should be placed directly into the basket before the clothes are added, following the manufacturer's label instructions. QuestionHow much detergent does the auto "less"function dispense?

- Answer According to the manual, the “less” setting dispenses 40% less than it otherwise would. I haven’t taken any measurements but based on the manual, it has a baseline amount it will do for an 8lb load. If your load is smaller or bigger it will adjust the detergent accordingly. And then if you do the “less”, it will reduce the selected amount by 40%. If you do “more”, it will increase by 40%.

- Answer Hello - The door is not reversible. The reason the door cannot be reversed is because the interior glass of the door is actually shaped differently than our existing UFFL products. QuestionHow do I unlock the dryer? is there a combination of buttons I can press to override the lock? This one very dry load is being held hostage and I cannot get the door open. Timer counts down to 0:01 and never unlocks. Pump filter is not the issue.

- Answer Hello- Thank you for taking the time to send us your question. Sometimes the Load sensing on the unit can take a bit of time. Try pressing pause and if that doesn't do anything, then try pressing the power button to turn the unit off. Also you will want to make sure that your software is up to date to ensure everything is working properly. - Answer Yes it does. Just power it on and push the Wash button to un-select the wash cycle and push the Quick Cycle Button. I have attached a photo to help.
