A:Answer I agree if an advertising displays a promise and did not deliver nor fulfill the promise is very bad and misleading marketing. Many companies provide(or state they provide) all disclosures when delivering a service or a product. I do believe they do up to a certain degree, however is very common nowadays to take advantage of people’s ignorance by making disclosures so detail, prolong, and complex that it would take anybody a full day to go over and still would end up not fully understanding. In this case, i am not sure whether BestBuy did have or not a sign of such, or whether “FOCUS” actually intended to provide a rebate or not, or the client saw an advertise and made the wrong judgement. But if $75 is a large amount for a company to pay back/rebate to any client, whether or not it fulfills a condition, I believe that that company should either not display such a sign nor provide such a marketing.
