Q: QuestionWill this printer print black only if one of the colors run out?

• A:Answer It won't. The ink both cools the printhead and lubricates it as it moves over the page, so printing with one of the colors out would quickly wear out that printhead.

Q: QuestionThis printer advertises that it comes with two years of ink. However, the ink bottles indicate they are to be used within 6 months of opening. What gives?

• A:Answer We are curious as to where you received this information. The Printing Material Shelf Life is 18-24 months. Previously opened bottles should be tightly capped and stored away from direct light, and excessive heat/cold.
