- Answer That’s a pretty standard window size. The adapter will fit a pretty wide range of window widths. It comes with screws to screw the window into place as a security measure but I just closed the window down on the adapter without screws.

Questionhello, i just got my unit yesterday. the unit will kick in hard with the ac, then around 10-15min later kick into what i’m guessing is just fan, then kick back on with ac. is this normal? is it just regulating temperature?

- Answer This is normal operation. But if it happens to frequently you may have purchased a unit that is too large for the space. When it comes to AC, bigger is not better. You need to size the unit appropriately for the space it is cooling.

QuestionThe window slides A and D has hole for bolt but no holes on B and C. Is this normal? I am not able to use bolts and secure the slides. I am putting the slides in ABCD order.See attached

QuestionWhy is my unit not cooling down to 62 degrees? I am in a space just less than 350 sq ft, and the unit stops cooling at 64 or 65. I can't get it to stay on to get below this. I have also tried the follow me function with the remote, and it hasn't hit 62.

QuestionMy window is higher then the drain. So the hose goes up before going out the window. Will it fill the hose enoguh to drain out the window, or should I raise the portable AC up so it is higher then the window?

- Answer If you are talking about the hose that connects to your window, then, yes, it can be higher than the air conditioner. It only fills with hot air, never any water. If you are talking about the drain for the dehumider function, I don't know because I haven't used that function yet but I think you just hook that up to any container to collect water then discard the water.
