It will work fine. I just bought both about two weeks ago and it fit with no problems.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.As most laptops use 2.5" drives (either SSD or HDD) there is a large chance that you will not need an adapter like this for smaller drives. If you have a desktop PC where the most common are 3.5" drives (primarily HDD, as all SSDs are 2.5") then you would need one of these adapters to properly install an SSD. As a substitute, I've worked for quite a long time with SSDs, two command strips on the back of the SSD and adhering it to the side of the PC case (desktop only) has worked for years for me since SSDs do not contain any moving parts.
