- Answer The JUE130 connects to the computer via USB 3.0, if you only have USB 2.0 ports on your computer, then the JUE130 will max out at about 480 Mbps - unfortunately, you will not be able achieve up to 1 gigabyte speeds due to the speed difference in ports. If you have a USB port labeled "SS" for SuperSpeed - that will provide up to 5Gbps data transfer speeds which will result in up to 1 gigabyte speeds.

- Answer I own this Ethernet adapter to provide a wired Ethernet capability to my new laptop, it connects solely to an available USB port ... if your mouse leaves no available USB port, you've got a problem. Other than that, with no other details on your setup, I'd find it hard to believe that these two devices could conflict with each other - on the other hand, if you have run out of ports, add a USB hub!

- Answer No, the j5create JUE130 Ethernet Adapter will not work with a Smart TV, unless expressly stated in your TV's documentation that Ethernet over USB is supported.

QuestionWhy is it that I have the appropriate driver installed on my lenovo/windows/laptop and have used a previous JUE130 J5create USB 3.0 adapter that hooked up to my cox Arris modem and worked before, when I try to connect 2x new JUE130s they will not work?

- Answer Windows may still be prioritizing the old adapter's driver configuration. Go to Device Manager (Win + X → Device Manager). Under Network Adapters, look for the new JUE130 adapters. If you see a yellow warning triangle, right-click and select Update Driver. Try Uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling the latest version from j5create’s website. Some USB ports may not provide enough power, especially if multiple adapters are connected. Try connecting the adapters to different USB ports. If using a USB hub, ensure it is a powered hub. Check Windows Power Management: Open Device Manager → Expand Universal Serial Bus controllers. Right-click each USB Root Hub → Select Properties. Go to the Power Management tab and uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.

- Answer Unfortunately the USB 3.0 Gigabit Ethernet Adapter was not designed with the Nintendo Wii in mind, so it is not guaranteed to work with Nintendo Wii console.

- Answer The USB 3.0 Gigabit Ethernet Adapter is intended to connect to a computer with an available USB Type-A port (USB 3.0 is recommended) and connect the RJ45 female end to a modem or router. An installation of a driver is required as well. Drivers are available on j5create website under the "Support" tab.

- Answer You can’t turn it off it’s a driver down loaded. You can however go into the computer connections and select the j5 and disable it when needed.

- Answer This is an Ethernet adapter/ network adapter. So no. Unless your thermal printer uses that interface instead of USB.
