• Yes there is a mute button just below the volume control.

• There's an issue with the mic on these that I've seen posted on other forums. I'm not sure if it's a bigger issue on the Google Pixel, I've heard it's not as bad on the Galaxy, but the mic continuously picks up the Google Assistant on the mic which causes issues as the Assistant locks things up or it starts auto disconnecting and reconnecting. No matter whose issue it is, it's annoying I don't have a hardware mechanism to mute the mic to at least see if that is it. I haven't returned them yet, but at this rate, I'm probably going to because they're worthless with the issue.
