  • QuestionHow do you mount the rain gauge?

    • Answer using the provided screws, and removing funnel of rain gauge casing from it's base (battery compartment), you would screw the base onto a level surface and at least 3 ft above the ground. Keep away from runoff locations or under foliage for accuracy.   • Questionin order to get the most accurate info can this mount on a rooftop?

    • Answer Wind sensor should be mounted above roof or with 50ft radius in all directions so that sensor is accurate. You may review page 14 of the instructional manual for proper mounting for wind sensor. You may visit our YouTube Channel - La Crosse Technology for How To Mount Your Wind Sensor help videos.
