A:AnswerThere is a small food strainer in the bottom of the tub that may need to be cleaned from time to time. This most likely protects the pump from any incidentally small objects like hard food or broken glass or anything else that is small that might otherwise get caught up in the pump. Very easy to pop out and pop back in.
A:AnswerIt doesn’t have fold down tines on the racks. You can raise and lower the middle rack but that’s the only adjustment.
Cycle times: Rinse :23, Quick 1:10, Normal 2:53, Auto 2:53, Powerblast 3:28.
A:AnswerCorrect, you can not see it and yes you push start and close the door but the light to let you know when it is running and when it is finished is on the front clear to see.
A:AnswerGMcR, yes, the middle rack of this Dishwasher is adjustable! Hopefully, this information is beneficial to you. Thank you for your inquiry regarding our Maytag appliances!
A:AnswerWe use only the Hi Temp Wash feature (no Sani Rinse or heated dry):
Power Blast 2 hours 32 minutes
Auto (our “normal” setting) 2 hours 32 minutes
Normal 2 hours 33 minutes
Quick 1 hour 10 minutes
Rinse 23 minutes
If Sani Rinse is added to Normal, the time is 3 hours 4 minutes.
If Short heated dry is added to Normal+Sani Rinse the time is 3 hours 25 minutes; Long heated dry is 3 hours 31 minutes.
This is really a great dishwasher. It is very quiet and the 3rd rack is really functional. With that, it holds A LOT of dishes and….. they get CLEAN with the Auto cycle + Hi Temp wash + Jet Dry.
We highly recommend it.
A:AnswerIf you install yourself or hire an electrician, yes. If you paid for instalation, they require you to have an accessible, grounded receptical, not behind dishwasher. Clearance under this dishwasher makes it difficult to disconnect/reconnect a hardwired install for servicing. I replaced a 25 year old Matag with this model, relocated the romex wire to cabinet under sink, surface mounted a GFI receptical, where machine is easily plugged in or unplugged from, instead of going to breaker box. Already found this very handy!
A:AnswerEither disconnect it and connect it again or turn off the main breaker so the machine is going to reprogram itself . If it still beeping then use your warranty so they can fix it. The one we bought does a good job. The only issue I’ve experienced is that it doesn’t dry well but I open the door after the wash cycle is over and wait until the dishes get air dried.
A:AnswerYes. Just press the Start button once to pause cycle. After opening door and adding dishes press the Start button to resume and close door immediately.
