Questionwhat is the difference between 2.1 channel and 5.1 channel on a soundbar? Do these two things make a big difference in sound?

- Answer a 5.1 system has 5 speakers including a front left and right and a front center speaker. It also includes rear left and right speakers plus a subwoofer for a surround sound experience. A 2.1 system is just the Left and Right channel in the front and a subwoofer.

QuestionGreat system! My only gripe is that I have to turn the subwoofer on every time I power on the soundbar. There must be a way of making the subwoofer power on when the soundbar is turned on?! Sub is in a hidden place, hard to get to every time to turn on.

- Answer Make sure you use the vizio app to update the firmware..after the most recent update the sub goes into sleep mode after the bar powers down.. And wakes up again upon power up..

QuestionMy satellite speakers on play the background noise. I wanted this system for a family member who has hearing issues. the thought was to have a speaker close to their chair so the overall volume does not need to be maxed out. How can they play the audio?

- Answer The short answer is, they can't. Surround sound systems are designed to play 5.1 audio. The 5 represents 5 separate channels ( left front, center front, right front, right rear, and left rear). The show you're watching will have the audio intended for each channel encoded in the show itself. The sound bar is not capable of re-writing the audio signal to send audio meant for the front speakers through the rear speakers.

- Answer If your TV has an HDMI port that supports ARC (Which is normally marked if it does) then yes. The TV remote is all you need.

QuestionI hooked this soundbar to my hisense tv via the HDMI ARC connection. I get sound delay on all my connections, cable firestick etc. it goes away if i reset it but eventual comes back. I tried all the digital audio out settings RAW, DD, Off. Thanks

- Answer You may have to find the settings on your tv to tell it your using the ARC connection with the soundbar

- Answer You can use any speaker wire with the same type of connectors but our cables are 21 feet long.

- Answer My projector (Benq 2550A) doesn't have digital or HDMI output for sound, just a headphone jack output. I bought a powered HDMI splitter to split the HDMI output from my source (Apple TV or cable box), routing one HDMI to my projector for video, and the other to the sound bar (HDMI IN input) for the sound. Works great.

QuestionI know it says HDMI is the best option for sound. When I connect the HDMI no sound comes out, I have to use optical for the sound at to work. And do I have to turn on my soundbar every time I want to use it or is there a way it can come on automatic??

- Answer You'll want to make sure you have the HDMI cable plugged into the right location. You'll need to look for an HDMI port labeled "ARC" on the TV (If this is a VIZIO TV, this will always be HDMI port 1). You'll also want to make sure you're plugged into the "ARC" port on the sound bar. If your TV does not have an HDMI input labeled "ARC" then it may not support this feature. Once you've connected it correctly the audio should automatically come on.

QuestionWhat is the maximum power output of the soundbar? As I'm based outside of the USA, I need to use a voltage adapter (the voltage here is 220v). I need to know the power to buy the right voltage adapter. Thank you!

QuestionTwo LED’s stay on all the time on my sound bar... is this normal? Both LED’s are on the bottom of the line of LED’s on the front of the sound bar, one white the other blue.

- Answer That is normal. The white light is indicating your unit is powered on, the blue light indicates the product is successfully connected to the internet.

QuestionIs it possible for the subwoofer to turn on at the same time as the sound bar. Having an issue of them not coming on at the same time and when they are turned on they usually aren't paired.

- Answer When I set up my sound bar system, I turn on my sub woofer first followed by the sound bar and the sub woofer automatically paired with my sound bar. I also noticed their is a pair button on the sub woofer that I could press if it didn't auto detect.
