QuestionI have what is considered strong WiFi- 350 Mbps down and 400 Mbps up- but I am always lagging in any game I play on my PS4. Would this help reduce my ping and stop me "rubberbanding"?

QuestionWe have basic Spectrum internet. Router is on the 1st floor in the corner of the house. House is 2,200 sq ft, & all the bedrooms are upstairs. One bedroom is directly above the router. Will extender help upstairs or should i just upgrade my service?

- Answer Yes you can use multiple devises to extend the range and connectivity within you house or other building. My friend has two units so that the signal can go in different areas of his large house. the router just needs to be set up somewhere between them.

QuestionSo I don't have a weak wifi signal in my house, but connecting to the router via ethernet isn't an option. Can I set this up in my room and connect to it via ethernet cable from my pc and connect to my network and have a good connection?

- Answer It will increase the range. Your wifi is controlled by your Mbps that you pay to your internet provider

Questionwill this work with a Verizon 4g lte hot spot / jet pack? I need to connect a dvr using eathernet cable to it and connect to the hot spot. net gear customer service says it will work

- Answer It should work. I used mine to provide internet for our office after Hurricane Irma took out our internet. The Mobile Hotspot supplied all of us internet. The extender picked up the Hotspot signal and converted it to Ethernet, which I then connected in place of my ISP modem. I also have one connected providing my Samsung Smartthings Hub with internet which powers all of my smart switch, lights, kwickset door lock, and Honeywell thermostat.

QuestionCan I use the extender to connect to my Gopro 4 which has WIFI and is outside the house? I can connect my phone to the Gopro now while I'm in my house but loose the signal when I move around in the house. My Gopro WIFI is password protected

- Answer I guess you could set up the extender inside your house and place it where the signal can propagate outside where you want it. Download the free phone app "Wireless Analyzer" to see how strong your signal is and how far it will go.

- Answer Go into settings with the netgear genie app and you can change the wifi password or type the ip address into you browser and enter the default user name and password to get into settings.

- Answer No - you must pair the unit with the existing WiFi system. Most of your devices will need to have router location changed and password reentered. It took me about a half hour to do the setup process and enter 6 devices. Not hard at all.

- Answer During setup you need the device in the same room as the router. Once setup is complete you want to deploy it somewhere between the router and where you want a stronger signal. Netgear has a neat Analytics app to help you figure where to put the extender. Check their website for more info on how to do this. Netgear.com.

- Answer I got this for the same thing... you can get a long cable... and plug directly into it.. the extender stays in the house plugged in closest to the garage... But otherwise no.. You purchase a Wi-Fi antenna with a USB...( outdoor) it has a long cable with a USB on the end and a Flat Square solid panel. it can attach right out the window of the garage and plug into your Netgear. It will pick up the working routers in your house and give you what you need in the garage.

- Answer Just plug it in a receptacle near the wireless router. Then press the "wifi" button on the wireless router. The extender will find your router.
