A:AnswerYes. I can't remember the dB level, but it certainly gets loud. The central hub has a speaker as well as the keypad. Surprisingly the keypad is also loud (rechargable and portable as well, so long as it's close to the central hub). You can also set an audible notification on your phones, tablets, etc, so if you're away, you get notified.
A:AnswerYour older cameras will not work with this system. The contact sensors are just magnetic so they should work as long as you can mount them within 1/2 of each other and they can separate when the window opens triggering the alarm. Payment is required to store any video to the cloud. There two different plans to choose from. Go to ring.com and you'll find your information there.
A:AnswerNo remote. Everything is navigated through the app on your phone. OR you can purchase an Amazon Echo Auto and have Alexa do it for you all in the comfort of your car.

A:AnswerHello Rand,
Yes you can choose to self-monitor your Ring Alarm, in an emergency your Ring Alarm siren will sound and you’ll get notified, but you’ll have to call for emergency responders yourself. A:AnswerHello,
Great question! No, the Ring App would be required for the Ring Alarm system to fully function. Ring is always exploring integration opportunities with a number of partners based on what will best empower our Neighbors with affordable, effective ways to monitor their homes. Going forward, Ring will announce these partnerships as soon as they are ready.
The Retrofit Alarm Kit is recommended for neighbors who want to connect working wired contact sensor zones from a conventional wired alarm system to their Ring Alarm. The existing wired alarm panel does not need to be actively monitored or in use, but the wired zones do need to be operational with no damage. (Please check whether your existing alarm system and its sensors are subject to any contractual obligations, including early termination fees or warranties.) Here is more information about this kit: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360035340111-Frequently-Asked-Questions-about-the-Retrofit-Alarm-Kit-.

A:AnswerYea I don’t have Alex but I have a google nest and you can use the ring alarm or camera without having a google nest or Alex, the nest and Alexa just make it so you can tell the system whichever one you us, it just tells it commands. For ring everything is on the ring app so you would want the ring app set up. Hope that answers your question
A:AnswerYes. The base station will sound an alarm if triggered by any sensor you have set up. The outdoor cameras have their own alarm and can be turned on in the settings to sound off too. They also have lled lights that turn red when the alarm sounds.
A:AnswerHi CAC.
Good question. No, the Ring Alarm Base Station does not offer audio recording. The base station is the heart of the system and is actively connected to and commands all of the Ring Alarm devices connected to the system. It provides visual and audio feedback regarding system status changes and events using configurable audible sounds and voice alerts. Visit our support system for more information.
