A:AnswerHi Rich.
Thank you for reaching out to us with your question. The Ring Wired Doorbell Plus requires a doorbell transformer rated at 16-24 VAC 50/60HZ, 10-40 VA max. The Ring Wired Doorbell Pro requires 16-24 VAC, 50/60Hz, 30-40 VA max. A symptom of insufficient power includes not correctly ringing your existing internal doorbell. We recommend upgrading your transformer with at least 16 VAC and at least 30-40 VA max and 50/60Hz. Do not use a halogen or garden-lighting transformer or a DC transformer/power supply. You can also resolve your power problem by installing a Ring Plug-In Adapter.

A:AnswerHi Neighbor.
Thank you for your question. Both the Ring Chime and the Ring Chime Pro are compatible with the Ring Wired Doorbell Pro. The Ring Chime provides audio motion alerts when motion is detected or someone presses the doorbell. The Ring Chime Pro, in addition to providing alerts, also helps improve the wifi signal strength from your internet router to the Ring Wired Doorbell Pro.

A:AnswerHi luh.
Thank you for reaching out to us with your question. Yes, the Ring Chime can be used with other Ring cameras to provide motion alerts. You do not need to have a Ring doorbell set up to use the Chime with other Ring cameras. A:AnswerYes I have the same setup you are referring to and the doorbell is connected to the chime via WiFi and will work together once someone presses the doorbell.
A:AnswerHi Jack.
Good question. The main differences are that Chime Pro extends wifi coverage for Ring devices, has dual-band 2.4GHz & 5GHz wifi connectivity (vs. 2.4GHz only), a built-in nightlight, and guided feedback during the setup process to help you find the best location for your Chime Pro.
Both Chime Pro and Chime are compatible with all existing Ring Video Doorbells and Security Cameras, plug into standard wall outlets, and let you hear real-time notifications anywhere in your home.

A:AnswerHi Alexa.
Good question. Connecting Ring devices with Alexa is a simple process. To accomplish this, you’ll need to add Ring as a skill in your Alexa app. Once this is done, you’ll be able to use a variety of Alexa-enabled devices with your Ring devices.

Good question. No, the Ring Chime is only compatible with Ring devices. The Ring Chime (2nd Generation) is an updated version of the classic Ring Chime. Simply plug it into a wall socket, connect it through the Ring app, and you'll be able to get real-time Ring device notifications anywhere in your home, even if you're not near your phone.
