  • QuestionI have a ring video doorbell 1st Gen, had since 2012. On 2-1-24 I remove ring doorbell from mount to add a corner bracket. Once installed the ring doorbell keeps showing offline. I tried charging unit however not working. Do I need to replace battery

    • Answer Yes and I would recommend doing so. If not, your doorbell camera will not work while your waiting for the battery to charge. Plus, its always good to have an extra in case trouble with original battery arises.

    • Answer Some Ring models are also battery powered. It’s rechargeable. The battery lasts a few months and then you take it off and charge it for a few hours. You can sync several different Ring devices together.
