- Answer I don’t have cable, but I doubt it. It is just a switch box so you can go between different devices. For example, our switch box is connected to the TV set, and the 4 hdmis on the back are attached to several TiVos and a DVD player. When we want to watch a dvd, we switch to that spot (#4), and when we want to watch one of the TiVo’s, we switch to which spot it is on. It doesn’t do anything else.

- Answer Sorry, but no. This is a switch. It connects one of the four inputs to a single HDMI output. You can only select one at a time. What you don't need to do is keep swapping cables to get them all into one TV. If your TV or monitor only has one HDMI input, you need to change cables to view each source. With this, you plug up to 4 sources into the switch, and use it to do the switching.

- Answer Yes it works great with my One Connect box. But I don’t think it can replace it, only expand your HDMI ports.

- Answer All this device does is it lets you hook up multiple HDMI devices that you have. Say you only have one or two HDMI ports on your TV so now you have four extra HDMI ports you can hook up your PlayStation your Xbox your DVD player your Apple TV and one more item

QuestionIs this switch HDMI 2.0 or 2.1? 2.1 is required for the new 4K at 120hz modes on the Xbox Series X and Playstation 5. So far, all the switches I've found are 2.0 and cap out at 4K at 60hz. They also can't do 8K.

- Answer If you have that type of high quality equipment, this box is not for you. It will pass through all of your gear and work well but no 8k equipment. There are very few 8k devices out right now. If you want to be future proof, look for boxes that pass all the new HDMI codes plus 8k. Remember at this point in time there is little if any consumer 8k material
