A:AnswerThe soundbar can be used for over the air tv programs as long as you have it connected via HDMI ARC or an optical wire. Anything you watch on your tv will produce sound on your soundbar.
A:AnswerNo the soundbars are not exactly the same For a few dollars more the ROKU version is a better choice
The ONN version (Walmart) is 40 watts vs the The Roku 60 Watt version. The Walmart remote is Infra Red (IR) and has no voice activation feature. The Roku remote is Radio Frequency (RF) operation - does not require line of site to operate - and has voice activation and search. The voice search is extremely helpful and desirable and very accurate
A:AnswerThe Roku Subwoofer is to be used exclusively with the Roku Smart Soundbar. It will only link up wirelessly with the soundbar and has no other external connections except a power cord.
A:AnswerTurn power off to TV & Sound bar and remove batteries from remote.
Turn power back on and put new batteries in remote.
(keep battery cover off remote)
Look for small button off to side of batteries.
When "pair remote" comes up on TV screen, press & hold button till green light near button flashes.
That should work :)
A:AnswerYes but you will not get 5:1 only surround and there is no independent sound control its the same for both. Roku is hopefully working on a software adjustment for this . Sound is still ok with the right settings
A:AnswerCan’t guarantee as I don’t have cable, but I do have a Samsung tv and you have to manually go to settings and switch speaker output from tv speakers to soundbar. The soundbar may also turn itself off when the tv is off to reduce power use.
A:AnswerAccording to the Roku website there are four full range 2 3/4 inch drivers in the soundbar. There is a subwoofer and two satellite rear channel speakers available for purchase separately. In my limited experience of less than a week with this unit, the soundbar was able to produce an adequate amount of bass along with the regular audio feed. There is an adjustment available that will reduce or enhance the bass signal, or just turn it off. The soundbar in this configuration was certainly adequate for my needs, but I purchased the subwoofer a couple days later after reading all the rave reviews. It certainly made a huge difference in the sound. There must be some clever electronic processing going on inside the soundbar because I am discovering so many new sounds in an impressive stereo landscape with music that I have been listening to for years. Truly phenomenal.
A:AnswerSo we have the TCL - 50" Class - LED - 5 Series - 2160p - Smart - 4K UHD TV with HDR - Roku TV Model:50S525 and purchased the roku soundbar and subwoofer and have not experienced any lag between picture and sound. We use the arc cable to connect to the tv.
A:AnswerYou would have to use the remote that comes with the Roku Smart Soundbar. Roku does offer a Spectrum app that will allow you to view that content without using your cable box or remote.
A:AnswerThere's a Bluetooth streaming app on the Roku Soundbar. You pick that and connect your phone and play from your phone or whatever bluetooth device that you connected. I setup Prime Music on the Roku as well, because music sounds great through the soundbar.
