A:Answer The Roku Stick comes with a small USB power cube and a USB cable. You do have the option to either use the power cube or the USB port on your TV. The only issue is that the Roku, if it is plugged into the power cube, will stay on all the time. This allows it to receive software updates, etc. If you decide to use the USB port on your TV you should be mindful of two things. 1. Some TVs do not push enough power through their USB ports for devices like Roku Sticks -- so if your Roku does not function when plugged into the TVs USB port -- use the provided power cube. 2. Some TVs are designed to cut the power to all ports -- meaning that the Roku will reboot every time the TV is turn off/on. In the case of the aforementioned, you'll have to wait a minute or two while the Roku loads up.
