• Yes if you are using the ARC HDMI from your Amplifier to Television. The Roku can be plugged into any HDMI port on your Amplifier such as Video 1. Hope that helps.

• I connected mine into the HDMI port on the TV. Although I can't say for sure, I don't see why it wouldn't work using the HDMI port on your sound system.
