When I bought this, the sales-person said it can only use Office 365, which is the subscription version of Microsoft Office. However, if you set up a gmail account, you can use Google Drive, which has the equivalent of Word, Excel and Power Point. I've been using Google Drive (and Google Doc's before they changed the name), for years, and the file you make on Google Drive are 100% compatible with Microsoft Office
