Thanks for the question. The icemaker in your RF197ACRS is designed to turn off automatically when it's full, though it isn't unusual for a few cubes to fall out on occasion when the door is opened or closed quickly. I would suggest you check the feeler arm that hangs under the icemaker to make sure it isn't stuck in the "down" position, since this would prevent it from signaling to stop making ice. - Ms. Samsung
