A:AnswerHi Wally,
The TU690T, TU7000, and AU8000 all feature Crystal Displays for brilliant colors and exceptionally crisp, vivid images. Their Crystal 4K Processor further brings impressive clarity to all your content while upscaling everything you watch to stunning 4K definition, no matter the source.
When stepping up to the TU7000, you'll gain Filmmaker Mode, which allows you to watch the source content (e.g., movie) just as the director intended, as well as Tap View, which allows you to cast content from your smartphone by simply tapping it ton the side of the TV.
When stepping up to the AU8000, you will have all the benefits of Crystal UHD while gaining Ambient Mode and built-in Voice Assistants (Amazon Alexa, Bixby, Google Assistant) with a voice button on your OneRemote.
I hope this helps!

A:AnswerThe difference is the picture quality. The QLED is more expensive and has better color pixels. The Crystal is lower in quality and cheaper but you wouldn’t notice it unless you put them side by side.
A:AnswerHi Javelin363,
Yes, you can connect external Bluetooth devices to the TU690T TV such as Bluetooth speakers, headphones, Soundbars, etc.

A:AnswerHi there,
The TU690T Series does not have PIP (or split-screen). Split-screen capability to view two different content side-by-side is available starting from our CU8000 Series and up using our Multi View feature.

A:AnswerGreat question! Both the TU690T and CU7000 both feature Crystal Displays for brilliant colors and exceptionally crisp, vivid images. Their Crystal 4K Processor further brings impressive clarity to all your content while upscaling everything you watch to stunning 4K definition, no matter the source.
When stepping up to the CU7000, you'll gain Dolby decoder MS12 2ch, dual Bluetooth audio, mobile camera support, and Google Meet. Plus, you will gain Filmmaker Mode, which allows you to watch the source content (e.g., movie) just as the director intended, as well as Tap View, which allows you to cast content from your smartphone by simply tapping it to the side of the TV.

A:AnswerHi Mikey,
You can set the TV to allow Dolby Digital+ with Atmos streams that are input from external devices. Set to ON if the audio device connected via HDMI (eARC) supports Dolby Atmos. eARC will allow uncompressed Atmos. As long as your external device supports Atmos, you can pass through Atmos via eARC without issue.

A:AnswerHi Runningman,
No, you cannot connect more than two Bluetooth devices at once on the TU690T. Instead, I recommend the CU7000 TV, which offers the feature Dual Bluetooth Audio, allowing you to connect to two Bluetooth devices at once.

A:AnswerMake sure to get 4 x M8 screws, 25 or 30 mm length. You can get and use extra washers to make it snug. It took me 2 trips to Lowes / Home Depot to get the right screws... Don't get 20 mm length screws because they are to short and won't work. I tried this.
