Your Fridge should not be noticably slanted back. It should look level. As far as the door closing, the slant should be just enough up (or tilting back) to allow the door to close slowly. Some Fridges, like mine, have a "stop" in the door that will not allow it to close if it is slanted...If kind of "sticks" at the halfway point. Eitherway, you should not notice the slanting. Most Fridges have a tool that comes with it so you can adjust the feet. I bet if you get down and look, yours will too. Let me know how it works out.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Our Samsung refrigerator sets "normal" with no slant. The doors all close easily and the flex and freezer drawers will often (but not always) close by themselves. So, I would recommend you level it. Maybe you want to have a slight slant, but it shouldn't be apparent to the eye. Use a level and set it to be just a touch slanted and you should be fine.

Samsung refrigerators are not "self-leveling" exactly; the front legs can be raised or lowered manually, as needed, to adjust the leveling. It's important for the refrigerator to be leveled side to side in particular to ensure the doors are even and seal properly, and it's true that they are designed to lean back slightly to help the doors close more easily. If you prefer to have it level front to back, first make sure the leveling legs are raised all the way so the fridge is resting on all four wheels. If it still isn't level, please call 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who may be able to send you a set of shims (part # DA81-01052A) to place under the rear wheels. However, please keep in mind that raising the rear of the refrigerator may effect the ability of the doors to close on their own. - Ms. Samsung
