You don't say that you can MOVE your music. *You can't MOVE your music*, Only I-tunes does that. But Yes, I understand it PLAYS the Music from the thumb drive. And plays videos, from the Thumb drive. For people that have weak batteries, there is a better product that had the same function, but with a cord, so you can charge and play at the same time.

BUT to move your music to the Iphone, via the flash drive you NEED to use I-Tunes. The best I can say is, this device makes a great BACK UP, utility tool. To play music continuously, make sure you have playlists.
