A:AnswerHello there, Good question! Here is a quick comparison and major improvements of the A80K from A80J:
-Contrast improvement by XR OLED Contrast Pro
-Better color reproduction thanks to XR improvement
-New Remote with sleek and intuitive design
-Optional Bravia Cam and Ambient Optimization Pro
-The provided feet(stand) are little different cosmetically but operate in the same manner and have a 3 positions to best suit your needs if you are not mounting it.
These are just some of the differences of these 2 models.
I would also suggest visiting our Sony Electronics website for a more detailed comparison between our present and previous models. Hope this helps!
With the BRAVIA XR A80K you will enjoy a premium OLED picture with contrast and color that feels deep, natural, and real. The revolutionary Cognitive Processor XR™ reproduces content the way humans see and hear for an incredibly lifelike experience. Feel the action all around you with Acoustic Surface Audio+ and experience truly immersive sound that perfectly matches the picture on screen.
Regards,
Sam
A:AnswerA very basic question about an important specification that affects viewing performance. A buyer has to spend a substantial sum of money to acquire a Bravia TV. To not provide a basic piece of information like brightness, is akin to not providing battery specifications for a BEV. In both cases it precludes me being a buyer of that product. I will keep my 56" Sony LCD TV for now and look elsewhere for my upgrade from a more forth coming brand.
