Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There is an adaptor included to use a sounder with the optical connection however you can not adjust the volume using the optical port. Using HDMI to connect to your sound bar will give the best sound and you are able to adjust the volume as well. The sound bar however does not come on immediately when turning the TV on. Takes a few seconds Still unsure about this TV versus Samsung S95C.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, there is a plastic piece that is in the plastic bag with the tv instructions. I placed the plastic piece on my optical cord and then plugged it into my tv. Everything works great!
