“Does this TV allow one to pair a blue tooth Bose headphones with out TV speaker sound being muted... Am a vet and have hearing problems and would like to watch TV with my wife, whose hearing is fine - so would like to have speaker sound also... thanks!!!”

Yes... you can play sound out of both... It's one reason I bought this TV too..

Unfortunately, if you connect the device to the TV headphone jack, the HDMI ports, or through Bluetooth, the TV can't output sound from both the TV speakers and the audio device at the same time.
