Input Lag Ratings 1080p @ 60 Hz: 19.7 ms 4k @ 60 Hz: 21.2 ms Yes! This TV is better than both Samsung models you mentioned for input lag, only the LG B8 performs better. I have the 65" Sony X950G and experience virtually NO input lag when playing online shooters. In "game mode" I disable all engine features such as motionflow and reality creation etc, but if your just trying to enjoy a single player campaign you can leave all the perks enabled for best picture quality. I would highly recommend this TV for gaming. It's amazing.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would say that it depends on what you are gaming on as all of Samsungs QLED TV's are designed to work the best with the xbox. Samsung partnered with Microsoft giving them the edge with some cool features while gaming on an Xbox and they have very low input lags. If you want to spend less though and still get an amazing all around televison aswell a great gaming experience I'd say for the money the 950G beats out the Samsung. It does depend on your preferences. The Sony has superior background, upscaling, motion, and color accuracy. The Samsung has superior input lag, color volume, and blacks. If you like a more natural more true to life image get the Sony. If you like more saturated more exaggerated imagery get the Samsung.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The samsungs have the free sync which is tempting but I've not experienced tearing on my sony with 4k at 60 from an xbox 1x. I'd personally avoid a one connect box like the q9 has, all sorts of problems with the boxes and injury prone, expensive fiberoptic cable. Look online!
