QuestionCan I connect a record player, 5 disc cd player, cd recorder and tape player at the same time? What I mean is, are there enough inputs to connect all of these components?

- Answer There are four RCA red and white connector inputs and one phono input on the back that use analog RCA red and white. There’s a 3.5mm input on the front panel for iPhone or iPod hookup. Very clean setup. I have my iPhone connected via RCA to the back for the best sound quality. You can also play music through smartphones using the Bluetooth connection. However the analog RCA connectors will give you the best sound quality. No digital inputs.

- Answer I keep my receiver in a closed cabinet and the Bluetooth works through the cabinet and through a wall to get to my phone outside on the patio about 40 feet away. I’ve been really satisfied with this so far.

- Answer Yes! However you’ll need another amplifier. I hook up all external components ( phono, cd,etc) EXCEPT SPEAKERS…to my Sony receiver like normal. Then run a set of RCA cables from the AUDIO OUT on the Sony receiver to the MAIN IN of my equalizer . Then I run a set of RCA cables from the MAIN OUT of my equalizer to any input of the second amplifier. Then hook up your speakers to the second amplifier.

QuestionCan i hook up a sony active subwoofer sa-cs9 to this receiver.If yes how?I would rather use an rca jack to the out put jacks on the receiver since it doesn't have a dedicated subwoofer out.Would this work?since the speaker has 1 input and the amp has 2.

- Answer Most, or at least many, active subwoofers have their own built-in crossover and inputs to which you can connect your full-range speaker outputs from this receiver. They also have speaker outputs to pass on the receiver output to your full-range speakers. The SA-CS9 appears to have these typical connections so if anyone else has this question, you should be good.

- Answer Yes, you can connect your turntable to this receiver. However, the Bluetooth connection is inbound only. It is not designed to connect the receiver to external speakers.

QuestionCan I pair Bluetooth headphones to the Str-Dh190 receiver?

- Answer I make an assumption here which is quite reasonable so I base this response on them: 1. Your headphones are just that - Headphones without a microphone attached. In which case the Bluetooth is a receiver only to pick up sound from a source and reproduce it in the earphones or buds. That being said the Bluetooth in the Stereo is the same,- designed to pick up sound from the source and submit it for processing in the unit. The manual lists the Stereo as a Bluetooth Receiver and gives no instructions in switching it to transmit mode, so - NO they won't. However, if it helps you, I have 2 ea TaoTronics Bluetooth devices 2 in 1 that can be switched from transmitter to receiver. They sell for between $13 to $30 dollars. You would plug one of these into an output port on the Stereo amp (perhaps the headphone port) then switch it to transmit and pair it with your headphones and you would be all set. Best Buy may also have these, I didn't look. I have used mine for years without any trouble.
