- Answer Hi James, Thank you for the interest! We recommend connecting wired speakers with a nominal impedance of 6 ohms to 16 ohms. We also recommend using speaker wires that are anywhere between 12 to 16 gauge. These are most commonly used for connecting speakers to an amplifier or an Audio/Video (A/V) receiver Regards, David

- Answer Hi Me, thank you for your question. All HDMI jacks on the receiver support wide color spaces, Deep Color (Deep Colour), and HDR (High Dynamic Range) contents pass-through. The power output for the front, center, surround and surround back speakers is 145 W per channel. This unit comes with a remote. ~Earl

- Answer Hi Joe, thank you for your question. This unit is rated 90 watts per channel with minimum RMS power at stereo mode and 6 ohms speaker impedance. You may check the specifications of your speakers to match the unit. Please take note that matching speakers and subwoofer with lower impedance (ohms) and watts than what the A/V receiver is rated may cause damage to the receiver and is not recommended. ~Earl

QuestionCan you setup inside as 5.1 and use the two other speakers outputs for speakers outside with a volume control switch to control the volume outside? I figure you can turn off the volume outside when you don't need it.

- Answer I was able to use two of the speakers outside with a volume control. The issue doing this poor man’s 2-channel is you can’t adjust volume inside without affecting the volume outside. The sound outside will match inside, but with one exception. With the volume control switch connected to the outside speakers…you can turn down the volume outside. However inside might be too loud. If two zones are required, it would be better to choose a receiver that has 2-channels.

- Answer You should get sound at level 1 initially from the center speaker and subwoofer. The other speakers enhance with the surround sounds which you will need to turn volume up higher to experience the full affect. Make sure you have the speaker wires connected (small pull to see if they don’t move) and use an optical cable to connect from stereo to the TV.
