  • QuestionWhy are there wires when the heading clearly states wireless system?

    • Answer This is not total wireless like the Swann CoreCam which is total wireless with it's own power supply. Do note that this costs only $199 whereas a four-pack CoreCamm setup will set you back $599. Think of this as a hybrid, the main camera is wireless and you can connect the other three cameras to the main camera via "wires", This setup being wi-fi enabled allows you to install the system which requires a base station that if often wired to your router,

    • Answer Hi etp7. There is one cable coming out of the base of the main unit, and onto that you attach the other cables. We have loaded a copy of the installation manual for this product onto https://us.swann.com/swifi-fourtify4/. You can find it under the Downloads section of that page and it will show you some wiring diagrams to help. - SD, Swann team

  • QuestionWhy are all SD cards formatted internally to 1.49 GB?

    • Answer Missing almost all of the memory on every card I use. Question was they are "formatted to 1.49GB total". Only 1.49 GB total being used on 3 different systems. Looks like it may be a FAT 32 only system and 32/16/8 GB cards may work/TBD. All included cards do not work as advertised nor any card I use in it. The remaining 60GBs of space on the card is unusable and inaccessible space. Checked in a computer and this large amount of space can only be restored by using the old DOS tools still in windows and deleting all partitions. The 1.49 GB total formatted space is viewable on a computer.
