• A:Answer Hi Brandon. This 16-Channel model has space inside the case to accommodate 2 hard drives in total. If two hard drives are installed and one of them fails then the NVR will automatically record to the other hard drive. This model also supports Disk Groups which allow you to designate which cameras are recorded to which specific HDD etc. -SD, Swann team

Q: QuestionWe are looking for a system that can be monitored at the front desk on a computer/TV screen. Our current system that we want to replace allows a feed via hardwire; so we can view all of the cameras at once on a split screen. Does your system have this?

The recorders and hub hub have an HDMI port which you can use to connect directly to a monitor/TV. You even have the option to run it this way as a local-only system without any internet at all if you prefer. Q: QuestionThe specifications listed by Best Buy show that the camera has a 90 degree field of view. For this same model number SONVK-16900010 on the SWANN website the field of view given is 65 degrees. Is it actually 90 degrees or 65 degrees field of view?

Swann's NHD-1200BE cameras which are included in this kit come with a 65° viewing angle and a 6mm lens. This provides users with a fantastic image quality at a further distance. Q: QuestionCan Best Buy install this for me? They installed my 6 cameras with wires in conduits under my roof eaves. I'd like to upgrade and re-install 10 cameras.

• A:Answer Thank you. This is Lei. Our last install was on the mainland continent. We are now in Maui. My mistake...this is not a re-install but a whole new system install. We loved the Swann system. I notice that there are no Best Buy outlets in Maui so we may need to hire an independent contractor for the installation. We decided that we’d rather purchase the Swann 16 camera system and put some up on the second floor to protect our home business. Thank you again.
