• A:Answer No "on" indicator lights. There is a toggle switch on the front knob panel that must be physically flipped on or off. The bright, white light panel is tucked neatly under the front lip edge and shines down rather brightly on the knobs. You may already know that two of the burners have an extra low setting. What I realized only after install, is that these burners will actually turn themselves off for about 20 seconds and then back on. This extra low setting is "insurance" against scorching. There is no light, but you will hear the periodic click of the re-ignition. Thats a heck of a reminder that something's on, though I have not found it to be an annoyance. Maybe one day each of the burners will be outfitted with a timer! Hope this helps.

• A:Answer I have selected Range-A-Hood 36" 600 CFM, (it's equivalent to 900 CFM, 2 separate fans) and it has lowest noise level. Currently it's installed but have not not used it. Based on it's how the fan housing assembly, it seems very straight forward to cleanup as well. you can see some youtube video for it's noise levels and cleaning.

To adjust the amount of ExtraLow® heat to suit your food and quantity, you can set the control knob anywhere within the XLO range indicated on the knob. Per the Use and Care Manual, here are the cleaning instructions: • Acidic and sugar-laden spills deteriorate the enamel. Remove soil immediately once the grate has cooled. • Abrasive cleaners, used too vigorously or too often can eventually mar the enamel. • Suggested cleaners; rinse and dry immediately: -- Hot water and detergent -- Fantastik® -- Bon-ami® -- Soft Scrub®. • Stubborn stains; rinse and dry immediately: -- Soap-filled steel wool pad -- Lestoil® -- Other degreaser. • Metal deposits: -- Scotch BriteTM scrub sponge -- Course steel wool pad.
