A:AnswerIf you go online the Sony Vaio Model No VPCEB11FM has a 320GB Serial ATA (SATA) hard drive when it came from the factory. I wouldn't see why this one wont work. You will need to the restore disk for this computer since your other hard drive doesn't work. I will see if Sony has these disk before purchasing the hard drive. At times they might not be able to get the disk for you and you might just need to purchase a new computer. Good Luck
A:AnswerYes, this will work as long as your computer has a SATA connection. Open the HardDrive bay and verify the connection type or review your specs prior to purchase.
A:AnswerFaster speeds are always better, but not always necessary. More memory follows the same rules. Without knowing your use for the drive it is impossible to say how you should go though.
A:AnswerHere's a ink to the PDF spec's of your Dell D620 laptop.
http://www.dell.com/downloads/global/products/latit/en/spec_latit_d620_en.pdf
It's an older machine with XP. The BIOS that currently came with the laptop only has a capacity of 100GB HDD. BIOS would need updated from DELL.
Upgrade your laptop to Windows 7 to install a larger HDD. Or better yet, keep this laptop for spare and buy a new one.
A:AnswerYes it will work on your computer. It does not come with an installation disk. However you need to initialize the disk so it will show up as a drive.
A:AnswerIt averages 15 to 20 MB/s. Again the speed isn't always accurate when copying a large file like video or a Photo Library. But I am always surprised how quick it gets done.
Using it as a backup drive also is rather fast.
